Steve and Deb --
I met my first Newfie over ten years ago and knew at that moment that someday I would have one in my family. At that time I was newly married and working long hours, so I waited. Then my husband and I were sent overseas on a work assignment... owning a Newfie would have to wait even longer. Finally, after eight years in Singapore, we moved back to Virginia in June of 2008. I immediately went on a search for my long awaited Newf.

I met Debbie at the Middleburg Kennel Club dog show in October and my search was over. Her dogs were just gorgeous and she was the only breeder there who really took the time to talk to me, even though she was incredibly busy. Debbie told me she had a litter ready to go on Thanksgiving and I was at her kennel the next week to meet the new puppies. Wow... were they cute!

My husband and I were at Debbie and Marv's home the morning after Thanksgiving to pick up our sweet Lily. We could not have asked for a better dog! Lily is 18 weeks old now and she is the most intelligent and beautiful dog I have ever met. She is wonderful with our four year old daughter and they are, without a doubt, going to be the very best of friends. I watched them out playing in the snow together today and it brought tears to my eyes. What a perfect pair. I can only imagine that a few years from now, I will write again with many beautiful stories to tell.

Since picking Lily up two months ago, she has doubled in weight, learned all the important commands and managed to make everyone she meets fall in love with her. We cannot take her out without being stopped every ten feet! She is curious and sweet and has all the beautiful traits that Newfies are known for. I cannot say enough great things about our Lily and of course, her breeder. Debbie breeds for movement, disposition, beauty and most importantly, health. She is so helpful and always willing to chat for any reason. I know that if I need her help or advice now or ten years from now, she will be there ready to give it. Debbie and her dogs were well worth the ten year wait!!

Thank you Debbie, Marv and Harry for allowing us to be a part of your Newfie family. We look forward to sharing all the joy Lily brings to us with you.
